The Governance Committee helps handle internal aspects of the GSG organization, including reviewing legislation and other GSG business for constitutionality and adherence to the GSG Bylaws when requested to do so by the Assembly. The Governance Committee is also the primary investigatory body during impeachment proceedings and other similar disciplinary actions as stipulated in the GSG Constitution & Bylaws. During constitution and bylaws review years, the Governance Committee also works closely with the Constitution & Bylaws Review Committee to ensure that proposed amendments to both documents adhere to the established standards and best practices of GSG.
