The Academic Affairs committee reviews University and Grad School policies and develops GSG proposals on issues pertaining to the academic and professional development of graduate students. It also assists with the execution and management of GRAD. Graduate Research Appreciation Day (GRAD) provides an on-campus conference-style venue in which graduate students from all academic backgrounds can share their research, obtain valuable faculty and peer feedback, and hone their conference presentation skills within the University of Maryland academic community.
